Our Mission

We were founded in 2025 and are headquartered in Sacramento, California.

While based in the United States, we have a big vision to extend globally within the next year. We focus our efforts in San Diego where trafficking networks exploit legal loopholes and overlooked systems, including but not limited to cross-border operations and hidden forms of exploitation that often escape public attention.

We are led by Founder Krishen Iyer, supported by a growing network of dedicated staff, volunteers, survivor advocates, legal experts, and partner organizations. Our team combines grassroots activism, policy expertise, and lived experience to ensure that our approach is both strategic and deeply human-centered.

Restoring Resilience

Healing from trafficking doesn’t stop at the rescue, it starts there. Through our 250+ Mental Health Packages, survivors and their families receive trauma-informed support for conditions such as PTSD, depression, and anxiety. These services are delivered via secure telehealth sessions, ensuring that healing is accessible no matter where someone lives. Every package represents a step toward confidence, resilience, and renewed hope.

Supporting Families

Trafficking impacts not only survivors, but also the families who love them. That’s why we extend care beyond the individual, providing counseling, coaching, and resources for family members navigating the path to restoration. By creating a network of understanding and support, we help families rebuild connection, trust, and stability together.

Pathways to Independence

4-Humans provides job placement and career development support that empowers survivors to take control of their futures. From résumé building to direct employer partnerships, our goal is to ensure every survivor has the tools and opportunities to go beyond surviving once they are back in their lives. Survivors can also connect with resources through our dedicated.
